Morning: Arrive to Tivoli at 11:45 AM and Start your day at Villa d'Este, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its Renaissance architecture and breathtaking gardens. Explore the terraced gardens adorned with fountains, statues, and water features. Don't miss the iconic Fountain of Neptune and the impressive Organ Fountain. Take your time to soak in the beauty and tranquility of this spectacular villa.

Late Morning: Stop for a light snack at a local cafe (we will provide you with a list upon confrimation)! Next, you’ll head to the center of Tivoli and visit the historic Villa. Take a leisurely stroll through the park, discovering lush landscapes, caves, and waterfalls. The highlight is the Great Waterfall, where the Aniene River plunges into a deep gorge. The scenic views and natural beauty make this a perfect spot for a relaxing morning.

Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Italian lunch at one of the local trattorias in Tivoli. Savor the flavors of regional cuisine, perhaps indulging in pasta dishes, fresh salads, and local specialties at Ristorante at Antiche Terme di Diana. This restaurant is one of the only venues in the area offering lunch reservations up to 2PM! It makes it the perfect lunch stop with the alloted time schedule.

Afternoon/Late afernoon: Make your way to
One of the following: Hadrian's Villa (Villa Adriana), another UNESCO World Heritage site. This vast archaeological complex (approximately 1 hour of walking) was once the luxurious retreat of Emperor Hadrian. Explore the ruins of palaces, temples, and thermal baths, gaining insights into the opulent lifestyle of ancient Rome's elite.

OR

A visit to the Temple of Vesta and the Roman Temple of the Sybil and do and enjoy an Aperativo at the beautiful bar and restraurant attached to the Temple. These ancient structures are located in Tivoli's archaeological park, providing a glimpse into the town's rich history. The option you’re choosing is most likely based on your desired walking for the day.

Evening: Wind down your day with a stroll through Tivoli's picturesque streets. Stop for a cocktail at Tivoli’s most popolar Pub: The Public House. Offering a large variety of Beer, Whiskey, Gin and other popular Spirits, this Pub is an a relaxing and cozy Pitstop after a full day of walking!

Next, take a stoll and Explore the town center, visit some local shops, and perhaps enjoy a gelato or espresso in one of the charming cafes. We will make our final stop for a 7:30PM dinner at a restraunt of your choice (a list will be provided on confirmation). We have a fantastic list of options based on your preferences of dining, views, and scenery!

Following each tour, a simple message to your driver will seamlessly transition you to the next locale of your choosing throughout the day. Your driver email you the week of with a well-crafted plan, including recommended destinations and dining options. Upon completion of your dinner, a return to your Airbnb can be arranged with your driver by a simple message upon the completion of your meal!
